About

I'm pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, focusing on AI, algorithms and optimization.

Before that, I was a data scientist at an ERP company, where I got exposed to (among other things) modern cloud infrastructure, financial controlling of SaaS companies, and deployment of AI foundation models.

In university, I explored multiple positions, including making math accessible to blind people, working as a teaching assistant, being a research engineer for the algorithms group, and being a software engineering intern for a social app.

(selected) past projects

  • FixCon
implementation and benchmark of an algorithmic framework developed for the algorithms research group.
  • Sipura
A library providing data structures and algorithms for graphs. It's based on tooling needed for my bachelor thesis, and has been used for some theses since.
  • Solver for Vertex Cover
Winning entry from a hackathon during undergrad.

current projects

  • Powersort
Together with Prof. Sebastian Wild, I'm working on integrating Powersort (the sorting algorithm used in CPython) into NumPy. I'm also interested in the downstream effects like energy savings, and will update accordingly.
