About

I'm pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, focusing on algorithms and machine learning.

Before that, I worked as a data scientist in SaaS, where I got exposed to (among other things) modern cloud infrastructure, financial controlling of SaaS companies, and deployment of AI foundation models.

Before that, I was a teaching assistant, research engineer for the algorithms group, a software engineering intern for a social app and freelance math tutor during high school.

current projects

  • Powersort
Together with Prof. Sebastian Wild, I implemented Powersort (the sorting algorithm used in CPython) for NumPy. I'm also interested in the downstream effects like energy savings, and will update accordingly.

(selected) past projects

  • FixCon
implementation and benchmark of a framework for algorithms research.
  • Sipura
a library of graph algorithms that is based on tooling needed for my Bachelor thesis, and has been used for some theses since.
  • Solver for Vertex Cover
Winning entry from a hackathon during undergrad.
